Engine of high standards and very low emissions. Number of cylinders: 6 in a line. Bore and stroke: 107 x 124 mm. Weight: 658 kg,,She has a cabin with berth place for 2 persons.,,Equipped with toilet, refrigerator, shower, stereo etc.,GeneralOther: Technical data,,Length (LOA): 12 m,Beam: 4 m,Displacement: 8 tons,Fuel capacity: 600 l,Water tank: 100 l,Project Category: CE-B / MCA OPTION,Supply: 200 NM at 2,600 rpm,Designer: Bilus Yacht Design,Model description:,,When standing in the cockpit in front of you is a large glazed door through which you enter the passenger cabin. The cabin has room for 12 passengers and two other crew members. The seats are arranged in two rows, six on each side, with a wide passage between them. The seats are designed to keep passengers comfortable even at higher speeds and slightly worse seas. Below the seats are compartments housing life jackets. Before the entrance to the cabin, to the right, there is a toilet. Although small, it is quite sufficient for a passenger vessel of this size.,,Central to the front of the passenger cabin is the skipper's seat. In front of it is a console with all the controls and controls. The console is not large, but it easily fits all the equipment needed for such a vessel. A large plotter is centrally located on the upper part. The plotter, in addition to the classic cartography, also displays a reflection of the radar installed on the cabin roof. Below the plotter are engine monitoring instruments, while to the left are commands for lateral thrusters and stern flaps. The rudder is of course in the middle, and on the right are the engine commands, and in the lower left are all the switches.,,As such a vessel must have two crew members, there is a cabin below the deck in which they can be comfortably accommodated, which is important because during the transfer the crew often has to sleep on board at some distant port. The windows on the cabin are not large because the profile of the cabin is, as we said below, but there is more than enough light in it. Steering wheelhouse openings and sliding windows on both sides provide excellent cabin ventilation, so there won't be much need for air conditioning for the hottest summer months.,,The main propulsion engine is the Cummins QSB 6.7 out of 425 horses. This gives this vessel a speed of a maximum of 28 knots at 3,000 rpm. Because it does not speed the boat is especially economical at speeds of 8 to 14 knots. This is an area of ??speed at which classic speedboats have not yet starved and are consuming far more fuel per mile than speedboats. This is certainly very useful for commercial vessels, which consume much less fuel at a speed of about ten knots, and if necessary they can take off at full speed at 28 knots. It is important to note that the total weight of this vessel is 8 tons, so these 28 knots are a respectable speed given the relatively low engine power. Specifically, similar vessels achieve similar or slightly higher speeds, but with much more powerful engines, which means they consume much more fuel.,,The engine room is insulated with a special foam applied to all surfaces within the engine room, resulting in a significant reduction in noise and vibration, which is important when transporting passengers, especially those who are on board for the first time. With smart solutions, as well as careful calculations of strength, the required strength was achieved without significantly increasing the weight of the boat.,,In order to increase the speed, the comfort of navigation and the handling of the boat on high waves, a deep V-shape of the underwater part was selected. In order to meet the increased resistance of the boat to the bonanza, due to the above conditions, extensive model tests were performed by experimental-computer methods and it was achieved that the bow wave, by interference, cancels the rudder wave, which significantly reduced the total wave resistance.
